Spellings and The Bee

Napolitano is advising Spellings at UNC? Or...?

She has also sought the advice of modern university leaders with political backgrounds, such as Mitch Daniels, president of Purdue University, and Janet Napolitano, president of the University of California system. Sac Bee' s AM Alert:

Includes this event today:
ZERO-SUM GAME: Few budget issues this year directly involved more high-level politicos as the debate over funding for the University of California. Brown and UC President Janet Napolitano held private sessions as a “committee of two.” Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins, D-San Diego, convened multiple hearings on UC’s budget and admissions policies. Today, the Assembly education budget subcommittee led by Assemblyman Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, will be at U.C. Davis for a hearing on UC enrollment and budget issues, 1:30 p.m., King Hall, U.C. Davis.

Will add in here: a  problem with holding CA Leg hearings at higher ed facilities is the lack of coordination and/or communications from Sacto and the schools on how the rest of the state can view the archive, e.g. arrangements with Cal Channel or the college, university hosting it. If there is archive will post it here later. (No video of Oct w/ CSU  Dominguez Hills hosting, just snippets in obscure locations)
