In it Napolitano makes an aspirational statement that staff and students should feel safe to work, study at UC, and also said the sex harassment problems at Cal are pervasive throughout academia, the wider world... One should also recall that just a few months ago Napolitano complained about UC campuses being under IX review by DOE for so long, and UCOP dragged their feet in adding staff concerns to the UC IX taskforce that was created only after multiple students' IX complaints surfaced -- so there's that...

Note also that the May meeting is once again in Sacramento, should prove interesting locale since the audit findings and other news making the rounds everywhere.

Also, UCLA was picked as the non-UCSF location for the September meeting
. The location of the Sept UC Regents Meeting is supposed to be at a location the UC Regents don't normally hold their meetings at...Yet , this year they picked UCLA , but UCLA is a represented location for the UC Regents committee on Investments meeting, and committee on health services, etc. Was it right for them to pick UCLA for Sept instead of a UC campus like Irvine, Merced, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz?
