Board member, San Diego Regional Airport Authority;
Charlene Zettel is a Board Member of the San Diego Regional Airport Authority and served as the Director of the Department of Consumer Affairs for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger from 2004-2007. She was elected to the Poway Unified School District Board of Education and twice elected to the California State Assembly. In the State Assembly, she served as chair of the Republican Caucus, vice chair of the Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy, and a member of the Appropriations, Education, Health, Rules, Transportation and Governmental Organization committees. She was appointed by President George Bush as public interest director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (2003 -2005) and is currently a member of the board of directors of the San Diego and Imperial Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2009 for a 12 year term.

UC Regent appointed to be CEO of Donate Life
"CEO of Donate Life California — a private, non-profit organization created to administer the state’s organ and tissue donor registry."
"Although a private entity, Donate Life California works with public institutions such as the California Department of Motor Vehicles and the four organ procurement organizations of California that recover organs for transplant in specific geographic areas. According to Stocks, the registry acts as a tool to facilitate the process of organ donation.

According to Stocks, the board decided to appoint a CEO in order to help fulfill their long-term goal of expanding the registry from its current 8.5 million to 20 million registered organ donors by the year 2012."
